An Enraged Father Who Crashed a Church Service, Searching for His Daughter
I can vividly recall the night when my sister had got saved and decided to make a public confession of her faith, in a little Pentecostal church in my district, the pastor, of which, my father hated with a passion.
That evening when my sister told my father that she had found the Lord, and was going to join the church that night, my father had a fit and got into such a rage that he physically went into the church, in the middle of the devotion. He walked up and down the aisles of the church, looking for my sister, to pull her out of the church.
But the spirit of the Lord inspired the Saints to hide my sister before my father got there. They shouted round and about my father, and drove him out of the church.
Thank God for the victory in the battle for my sister’s soul. The devil could not snatch her out of God’s hand: Since the fall of our first parents Adam and Eve. The ubiquitous presence of sin pervades the hearts and minds of men and women everywhere. The good news is, however, as written! “But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.”
